Connecting to the Internet using

an ADSL line

Important:

Before connecting your Commander Pulse unit to the

Internet, you must first obtain the following information from

your Internet Service Provider:

Connecting to

the Internet

Connect the yellow ‘LAN

Cable’ supplied to the

LAN port on your PC.

Connect the other end

of the yellow ‘LAN

Cable’ to the ‘Ethernet’

port on the back of your

Commander Pulse unit.

> Your Username for your service (e.g. yourname@commander)

> Your Password (remember your password is case sensitive)

> VPI value (this is usually 8)

> VCI value (this is usually 35)

> Whether your Internet connection is PPPoA or PPPoE
